Welcome!

Hi! I'm CineMatt! You may have found onto this page either due to my Youtube or Twitter pages, or because you just randomly stumbled onto it through some Google search. Either way, this is my first post of what is a temporary third dumping ground for my videos (the first two being Youtube and Twitter). This blog is yet another way to get my videos some more exposure and put them out there.

In addition, I'm currently thinking of adding text-based reviews of other stuff that goes through my mind that won't necessitate an entire video. But, that'll come with time.

In the meantime, I want to give a brief update on my latest video. I shot it almost a month ago planning to get it out within a week. The problem with that is that I shot nearly three hours worth of footage I'm wading through and have a lot on my plate in other aspects of my life (yes, I do have an outside life). Therefore, I'm not giving an absolute release date. It'll be done when it's done. But, I am about halfway through editing and hope to push through to the finish soon.

There's also a Gut Reaction for Evil Dead (2013) that I'll edit together quickly and post once I'm done with that video. On top of that, I saw The Place Beyond the Pines a couple of days ago and feel like I need to talk about it, but don't want to say much so those of you who haven't seen it can see it for yourself. I plan on filming the Gut Reaction for that this week and editing it as soon as I'm done filming.

So, that's where I'm heading in the next couple of weeks. After that, I plan on going for what I actually made my YouTube channel for (surprisingly, those previous videos are just a warm-up for my big project). Then, with summer fast approaching, I plan on devoting much more time to my videos and posting on a semi-regular schedule.

So, if you've been watching for a while, stay tuned! If you're new to my videos, watch my previous ones and, soon enough, I hope you'll see how they've evolved for the better over the course of four months.
